Taking inspiration from the Chinese Room at the Claydon House to deliver Chinoiserie style interior. The chimney-piece with hanging flowers and bells along with the adjacent chinese figures was designed by Luke Lightfoot in 1769 and are the highlighting details of this delicately carved mirrors. Our alternative take on this mirror shows two European figures to raise awareness on Chinoiserie designers like Luke, Sir William Chambers and Jean Pillement among many others and how their work has inflenced the west.
